Description
Honey cake was not something we ate for Rosh Hashanah. It's just not a big South African-Jewish tradition. My mom did however take to making a completely delicious ginger loaf cake. There is lots of honey sweetening things up in here with the addition of a generous measure of ginger and a blend of other spices!
Especially delicious with a generous slather of butter. MUST be served with a cup of your favourite hot drink!
This is an excellent alternative to traditional Honey cake.
